On the 28th of April and 29th of April, I went to my mother friend's company to do some volunteer works.
In the morning about 7 a.m. of the 28th of April, at that time, maybe many of our school students were staying at home sleeping but I was got up at 6:30 to go by bus to go to the Tiexin Bridge ( a road) to find the Ding Ren Company to do volunteer. I went there at 7 o'clock so when I arrived I asked the manager what should I do for volunteer work. At first, he did not know I was the one whose mother was asked to give some simple things to do as volunteer work, he thought that maybe I was a probationer at their company so he asked me to sweep the floor. When I heard that , I was totally surprised because I never ever heard the volunteers need to sweep the floor as their volunteer work, so I asked he again, he told me that what I heard was true, he did not make a joke, so I went to find broom to sweep the floor, and then, I went to found the mop to mopping the floor. When I finished, it was 8 o'clock, I went to the manager and asked him what can I do and he told me that I need to clean the windows. When I was sweeping and mopping the floor, i saw some windows are too high that i cannot touch them. So I told him that some windows are too high I cannot clean them. The following answer for my question is exactly shocked me, he said that I can do it by using the chair. I made myself calm down and I went to clean the windows. After I cleaning the windows, he told me that I can go , then, I went out.
I went to there again in the afternoon on the 29th of April, I went to my mother friend who is general manager what should I do as volunteer work, he asked me what did I do yesterday, I told him , then, he was angry because the manager did not told me the real things I need to do as a volunteer, he told me to organized the documents and then he went out.
From this process, I know that when I go to somewhere to do volunteer work, I need tell them I am a volunteer, and I find that I am good at organizing things.
