Today, the 7th of March, after we have the Foreign Language Festival, at 12 o'clock, one of my friend Shirley have a lunch with me at a western restaurant which named " knight of the Round Table".
We went into the restaurant and sat near the window, I choose this place because after we finish our lunch, we could see the people walking outside,and we also could see some flowers and grass outside the window.I chose the Filet mignon and some other things as a packages and it cost me about 108 RMB. I chose the fruit salad, sugar ice cream, Italian corn chowder, and the restaurant give everyone who orders the mignon one glass of appetizer wine and some bread with butter.
The place has some beautiful music, some played by violin and piano, there is very romantic. The fruit salad was the first food to be given, there were some apples, peas and some other fruit in there and it tasted well. Then, the appetizer wine was serving. Two glasses of red and white wine in one container and it looked like a vase. The waitter came and put one thing likes ice but not ice into the container and there were some gas like fog came out and it looked beautifully. We drank a little and I think that it does not taste good, but it not bad, so I put it down. After that, the bread with some butter was serving, and it was not bad. 20 minutes later, the Italian corn chowder came and I think it was great. When I put down the spoon, mine Filet mignon was came. When I cut the mignon, I saw some blood inside and I suddenly felt regretful because I said that mine mignon was needed with seven cooked. After that, the sugar ice cream was serving. The sugar ice cream looked nice and I were not have heart to eat it. However, if I do not eat it, the ice cream would melt away and it does not seem beautiful any more, so I eat it, it tasted ok.
We did not leave until 2 o'clock in the afternoon we finished our lunch. It was a great place to have a lunch but it was a little expensive and I want to have a lunch there with my mother for one time.
